Greetings KCCHA members and friends! Our final show has come and
gone, completing the 2008 Buckle Series! Special thanks go out to
Wylie and Kimberley for allowing us to show at their wonderful
facilities, Bob Lundgren for judging, Sarah Skaar for running the show,
and Kelly Ward and family for cooking up the lunch. We couldn't have
done it without all of your help.
Congratulations to all of you!

The KCCHA Board will hold a regular board meeting on October 26th at
11:00 am at Todd & Rachel Jensen’s residence to go over last minute
issues for the awards banquet. KCCHA will have an Annual Membership
Meeting the evening of the banquet and will open the floor to vote for
the (4) Officers of the Association positions as well as Board Director
positions if desired. We currently have (6) Directors. The by-laws state
we will have a minimum of (7) or a maximum of (9).
If you or someone you know would like to be a part of the KCCHA board
for the 2009 season, please send your nominations to Todd Jensen prior
to the meeting on November 1, 2008. We will also take names and
nominations the evening of the meeting, and will announce the
decisions following.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact any of the board
members.
The Board of Directors had some interesting issues arise throughout the
year and we greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding
as we learned our positions. KCCHA can not thrive without the
assistance of its members and we encourage input from all of you. We
thank you for an exciting year and look forward to seeing everyone at
the awards banquet!
